Welcome to IMKEN 2022 Conferences
Welcome to IMKEN2022 conference, organized by Division of Computer and Information Technology, Faculty of Industrial Education, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi aims to academic exchange in computer technology especially in Multimedia both in science and art to share intellectual, professionals on current issue after the passing of Covid-19 pandemic situation and disruption in technology that impact our lives.
IMKEN2022 welcomes all prospective participants/authors from multiple disciplines in multimedia to share his/her unpublished works for presentation and publication at the conference. All submissions are subject to peer review before acceptance is made.
For the history of IMKEN 2022
For the history of IMKEN2022, it was cooperation between Division of Computer and Information Technology (CIT), Faculty of Industrial and Technology, King Mongkut’s University of Technology (KMUTT), Thailand and School of Media Science, Tokyo University of Technology (TUT), Japan since …. . First it was set as a symposium between two organizations that take turns as host. Right now, it is the duty of CIT and has a new host to join, School of Media Art and Technology (MDT), KMUTT. This time it has been adjusted the symposium to academic conferences and extends the relation of multimedia to global for interested parties to exchange and present their works in this field. We hope that this conference will present multimedia technologies that will solve the problems after the passing of Covid-19 pandemic and transition of technology in this field.
Conference method
Virtual-Conference
Due to COVID-19 control in Thailand, it is uncomfortable to do physical face-to-face conference. The conference will be provided online in the form of a virtual conference. The presenter will prepare media in the form of as online presenting slices/video and present via “Zoom” online conference under Spatial – Metaverse Spaces via “spatial.io”. The presenter will be trained to use the presentation tools and medium before the present day.
Virtual-Exhibition
With cooperation among 3 institutes: CIT/KMUTT, Media Arts and Technology and School of Media Science/TUT have a consensus to let undergrade students to present their work to public in virtual exhibition environment. Their work will be shown as a poster and the owner will stay as the descriptor. Interested people can visit via website on Metaverse Spaces also.
Call for Abstract & Full Paper
This invitation and call for abstracts and full papers are addressed to all participants. Participants are encouraged to submit the abstracts and full papers before the deadline.
April 30, 2022 – Full paper submission deadline
May 15, 2022 – Notification of paper acceptance
May 31, 2022 – Registration deadline
May 31, 2022 – Camera ready manuscript deadline
June 9-10, 2022 – Conference dates
Best Paper Award
All participants will confer e-Certificate for participation. For the best paper award, it will be recommended by the review committee to be published in the Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology/KMUTT which was in Database The selection of the best paper will be based on
1. originality of the research,
2. contribution to body of knowledge,
3. total no of words for abstract not exceeding 300 words,
4. total number of pages of full paper (6-12 pages long),
